Service was amazing. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The only downside was the lobster bisque that I had ordered. It was extremely bland and had no taste whatsoever. I would try it again to for a fair 2nd chance though and maybe add some salt and pepper next go around.

The market and large selection of oysters intrigued me to check this place out. They have a display of various types of oysters, crab claws, and clams. I ordered to go and they put my order in this beautifully decorated box. Oysters (5/5): I ordered the Honeymoon, Plymouth Bay, and Orient Point Pearl. They were all sweet and fresh. Jonah Crab Claw (5/5): Very sweet and flavorful Clam (4/5): Got the little neck and cherry stone. The little neck was small, but plump and sweet. The cherry stone was huge, but very salty. Definitely a must try at Chelsea market.

We stopped in to enjoy the oyster station. The dozen sampler is a few bucks cheaper than at Cull one so we decided to give it a try. We came around 2:45pm and just sat at the bar. There are paper menus and pencils for you to select your oysters. Once you're ready, wave your menu up to get the attention of the staff (oyster pickers or the waiters) and they'll come to get your order (you pay first). We got the dozen sampler for $41 and it gives you one of each kind (sweet, salty, large, small). They all were so good, we wish we got the 2 dozen but we were saving our room to try other places in the market. We also got a "glass" of white wine and beer to go with it and it was fantastic! I would totally return for their amazing happy hour when I'm in the city again!

I've been a fan of the Lobster Place and it's my go-to for a good, simple lobster roll. I took my mom here years ago and when she came back to visit this was one of the spots she wanted to come back to. I saw a couple eating the lobster poutine and oh my goodness I definitely want to come back to try that! You order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. On the weekends the place might be a bit busy so it is hard to find a spot to sit. Tip: go back to the front entrance and usually those tables are more empty! I also discovered that they have half price oysters from 6PM to closing time and enjoyed some of those on my way out. I'll be back for that lobster poutine soon!
